Blown fuses

Blown Fuses

blown fusesIf you want to be safe, turn off the power to the fuse box before replacing a blown fuse.
After replacing the fuse, you can restore power to the box and the house.
It’s important that you only use the exact amp size in the fuse slot.
If you are contently blowing fuses, do not use the next size up to solve the problem.

Not using the right size fuse can result in fire or other problems.
If you own your home and have a fuse box, you should consider upgrading your wiring by installing a circuit breaker box. This is a safe way to prevent any unfortunate accidents or fires because of old wiring.
Also, in terms of resale, wiring should be current.
If you are considering an upgrade from a fuse box to a circuit breaker box, you should call a licensed, experienced and insured electrician who can safely replace old wiring, install the circuit breaker box and make your home safer for you and your family.
